BSG/techUK event – Britain’s Digital Infrastructure: boosting our growth and productivity – 18 November 2015

The Broadband Stakeholder Group and techUK are delighted to invite you to our conference “Britain’s Digital Infrastructure: boosting our growth and productivity”.

A crucial part of fulfilling the UK’s ambition to remain one of the leading digital economies in the world rests in the delivery of the right infrastructure; one fit for the future and capable of meeting user demands on coverage, capacity and quality.

This joint BSG and techUK conference will explore how the future shaping of our digital broadband infrastructure plays a significant role in increasing UK productivity and boosting economic growth. The conference will also review the progress achieved to date in deploying superfast and ultrafast broadband as well as the challenges faced by the industry in meeting future demand. We will also look ahead at what needs to be done to maximise the wider benefits from these services.

The event will bring together key industry experts across the broadband value chain covering the range of contributing technologies from fibre to mobile and satellite as well as large, small and medium companies. Confirmed speakers include Tony Clayton, former Director for Economic Analysis at the Office of National Statistics, David Mack-Smithfrom SQW, Sarah Gonsalves from MK:Smart, and also representatives from the Government’s Digital Economy Unit, Cisco, Viasat, and many more.
